They really do have a fairly unique sound. One thing that Night Demon does is write catchy rock songs in a NWOTHM package. To totally repeat myself, this is another energetic rocker. I mean, it has a great opening riff and grants us a solo 19 seconds into the song - you’re speaking my language with solos at the beginning of songs. This is the third song by Night Demon to make the list, and I would consider it to be my favorite by the band. That opening riff though, is pretty glorious: chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug–duun-duun-du-nunut–chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug-chug–duun-duun-dun-dun-dun (give or take). This is the second song by Night Demon to make this list, and again, it’s just an energetic rocker. This one also, unsurprisingly, made the list in 2014, coincidentally being the song that tied with “The Devil Never Sleeps” at #20. This is the second Stallion song to make the list. When all things are said and done, this will possibly end up as a top 10 favorite of all-time. I love this song.” Every single word still rings true right now.

This is what I wrote last year, “This song is one of the most ferocious songs ever written. In fact, the song has already propelled itself to #12 all-time, and frankly it is completely deserving.

This was my #1 most played song last year, and I am happy to see it return again this year. I know it’s only 6 seconds, but it’s also 38 words (6.3 words a second) (and a rest to boot!). Great beat and Twisted Insane’s signature rapid fire delivery.īeyond the rest of the song, which is also quite excellent, the thing that really stands out for me is his initial verse, and specifically 0:48-0:53. Had I heard it at the time I heard his other (pre-”Voodoo”) albums, this track would have surely been played more. This was also by far the last of Twisted Insane’s albums that I heard (other “Voodoo”, which came out late last year). This is the first Twisted Insane track to make the list. “Kick Rocks” by Twisted Insane (63 Plays) This is one of my favorite songs from Night Demon’s debut album, “Curse of the Damned”. “Heavy Metal Heat” by Night Demon (59 Plays) This makes sense as “Rise and Ride” (the Stallion album it comes from) didn’t come out until September of 2014, where as I got all 12 months of 2015 to listen to it this time around. This song tied for #20 last year with 40 plays. “The Devil Never Sleeps” by Stallion (59 Plays) “The Insane Asylum” by Twisted Insane (902 Plays)Ģ015 saw my top 25 songs list dominated by pretty much two artists. “Curse of the Damned" by Night Demon (517 Plays)Ģ.

“The Last Demon” by Twisted Insane (440 Plays)ģ. “Rise and Ride” by Stallion (423 Plays)Ĥ. “Aria of Vernal Tombs" by Obsequiae (319 Plays)ħ. “The Book of Souls” by Iron Maiden (280 Plays)ĩ. “Waking into Nightmares” by Warbringer (252 Plays)ġ1. “Honeymoon” by Lana Del Rey (248 Plays)ġ2. “Chasing the Dream” by Skull Fist (244 Plays)ġ3. “Dangerous Days” by Perturbator (243 Plays) “The Root of All Evil” by Twisted Insane (222 Plays)ġ7. “Another Night” by High Spirits (206 Plays)ġ8. “Reality Show” by Jazmine Sullivan (196 Plays)ġ9. “Dinner and a Movie” by Brotha Lynch Hung (176 Plays)Ģ1. “Mannibalector” by Brotha Lynch Hung (172 Plays)Ģ2. “Under Jolly Roger” by Running Wild (155 Plays)Ģ3. :o(Īll of these albums are, in my biased opinion, awesome!!! Just trust me.
